Stories...

So this past week I've been doing a lot of thinking about certain artists that I enjoy and certain era's of art that interest me.  I love stories and I think that almost every piece of art has a story behind it.  The stories that I find most fascinating are those within the neo-classical period.  I love the classics and find the truth behind the pieces so fascinating.  I love how the artist is able to capture a certain scene within the story with such detail.  For example many of David's pieces I find so interesting.  I think to reflect on the life I have lived so far and if an artist were to paint a scene from an event of my life, I wonder what would it be.  I'm only in my early 20's and I feel that I have been so privileged to go and see many places and have been able to do so many things so its hard to think of what certain event of my life might be captured on canvas.  Now as I sit here writing this I feel silly because its now coming to me how I myself am able to capture these certain events, not on canvas but with the click of a camera, lol.  Anyways, it would still be cool to see an event of my life on an artistic canvas.
